Default Dan Dare Eagle

Hi anyone remember the Dan Dare solo comic following on from the 2000AD. With the flying fort and the 3 assault craft called eagles ?. I was just wondering if there is any comic collectors out there who have the issues with the cut away versions in ?. I had most of these but sadly lost the lot when my parents where flooded. Worst for them obviously but couldn't replace.

And possibly scan them I have searched the web obviously but I can't seem to find. Looked on Ebay but no joy just seem to be the annuals the original Dan Dare and the reissue. And a really bad computer rendering of it well it won't work for my purposes.

No hassle either way just working on a plastic card version. If I fail with here just have to be a memory custom job.

Cheers guys

Cheers guys much better than the images I have found online. I needed to work on the scale but the way different artists interoperate the design is surprising. Especially the cockpit design and rear engine shape. I have some artist card stock but should have saved my Weetabix box. I have a idea to form the front curve with quick spray of water on it. And a hair dryer for plastic so hopefully see what happens.

Thanks guys

That Eagle ship reminds me of the Manta vehicles from 2000AD's Judge Dredd. Wonder if the same people designed them?

Can't honestly remember those but knowing SCI Fi artists as I do the borrow from everything. One of my former Art teachers designed SCI FI and fantasy covers for novels. And pinched some of my sketches but at the time was more happy to have someone interested in them. Bearing in mind I was still at school so never knew the importance.
