Default Eagle manouvering thruster bells

Anyone else noticed that the bells on the later two 44" eagles are far smaller (and cruder in the case of eagle 2) than the original?

Eagle 1

Eagle 2

Eagle 3

Or am I 40 years behind you guys ??

You are comparing the 44 inch model against the 22 inch I believe, though I stand to be corrected.

I don't believe so. Certainly the pics were taken from the Catacombs article of the 44"ers. Here's another pic of Eagle 2.

I believe that only Eagle 1 had attitude thrusters and the round sensor thingies in the Beak (these also on the 22) made from aluminium, whilst Eagles 2 & 3 appear to just be plastic.

Never noticed thrusters differences…seems to be true ( even 40 year later, there's always something new to discover ).

On Eagle 2, those sensors looks simply covered ( quite crudely... ) with aluminium foil:

Eagle 3 ones are even more noticeable, coming from some jet airplane turbine faces….just painted aluminium.
