Don't suppose there's any chance they'll make just the pod and winch parts available separately? For those of us that already have a 22" Eagle?

OK - just read the release only available as a whole. Oh well - understandable, I suppose. You have to applaud Round 2 for giving us such a great new kit.

Default Typical....

....we wait forty years for a stupendous Eagle model which is within the grasp of most modellers and 1999 fans, then two come along! I suppose that we could level the same accusation at Product Enterprises - the same Eagle but with different pods - but if you look at what they go for on eBay then there's not much difference between one and the Round 2 22".

I still find it hard to believe that, after all this time, there's still as much interest in the old lady as there is. I think my very own 22" kit is heading North in time for Christmas. Life's good!!!!

Kindest regards

Patrick

Looks good. How about a 1/72 Hawk and a 1/72 or 1/48 Ultra Probe command module for 2018 though?

I'm looking forward to the cargo eagle being released.
It will look great on display next to the passenger eagle.

I'm happy Round2 has brought the 22" eagle to us fans. I now have 4 of them and more in the works. My Facebook group "Space 1999 Props & Ships" has grown to over 6,000 members, it's amazing. We have all kinds of add on kits from the group members and even a 1/48 UPCM and a laser tank. Here are some photos of my eagles and the UPCM and tank.

Here is the laser turret for the 22" eagle from JD Bryson. It's removable and it's been modified to fit my 22" eagle 3 with spine booster.

Here is the interior for the passenger pod designed by Richard Lamer. This is in the final stages and should be ready soon.

That looks great, I am a big fan of Richard's work. Do the figures come with the kit as well? I am on the lookout for some replacement pilots but in the standard uniform and not the space suit - can anyone suggest some figures that could be modified to represent this?

I can see another eagle kit will be arriving here as soon as that is released.
Only problem is where to put it, looks like I need to make the display shelf a bit bigger so it can sit next to the other 22.

What? Where did you hear that? I don't think that is right, he's really wanting the Lab pod. The cargo pod had to be done first because the lab pod was designed from the cargo pod and now it's done. It's coming at some point, hopefully next year.

Both painted and unpainted (unpainted plastic looks a bit darker because of the slightly translucent quality of styrene) MPC 22" Eagles with NEW freighter pod attached! Magnets included for the hoist grappler unit to pick up the canisters!
Coming soon from MPC!!!

What would you guys think of something like this as a kit?

(1/48 scale- 22" eagle scale)

Create your own diorama, like Area 2 Waste Disposal.......

Six figures in spacesuits. They would use three body poses (x2 each) and include various mix and match arm poses.

One moon buggy with driver and passenger figures.

Six hexagonal Alpha storage boxes.

Two nuke waste covers with cones. The bases of which would be vacuform parts.

Eight 6 tall lamp stands. The bases of which would be vacuform parts. Two stands per base and battery packs and lights to light up the lamp stands.

I need your thoughts please!

Serious comments only please!
