Actually hoping Round2 would pick it up. I've spoken with Jamie in the past about it and he liked it.

Just bumping Todd's thread, if anyone wants the Eagle Pod interior kit for the 22 inch Round Two model now may be your last opportunity. Trust me, I have one and it's great (image of what can be done below), and can be lit. It's available from Alex at Century Castings here... http://www.centurycastings.co.uk/148-eagle-interior-kit
There is a "Valentines Discount" on if you order before midnight...dont say I told you If you are in the USA you can order from Richard Lamer, the designer of the kit, and save the overseas postage

It's great to see that they have matched the 44" whinch pod.
And not the kitbashed 22" so ithis kit will tie in with the original release perfectly.

The original 44" eagle is the only one they will use for these kits. The 22" just isn't accurate enough. Hopefully the lab pod is next on the list.

Sorry to be perdantic Todd,
But I think you will find that the 22" was built first and the 44 was scaled up from it?

Sorry, I was talking about the eagle itself, the 22" original wasn't as detailed as the 44" original. That's why Round2 is using the data from the 44" early season eagle for it's 22" release. :-)

Nah it's me.
I've found the MPC kit is so good I've back dated it to its original 22" look. Also built a winch insert for it, easy as it was a total kit bash. Although i didn't build the grab magnet.
So looks as if it's just Lab Pod for me... when or if it turns up?

Funnily enough it's the other way round for me. I like the lab version but it's probably my least favourite of the pods. I'm really glad we're getting the nuclear canisters pod seeing as PE didn't do it.

I'd like to see that, I was thinking of having one done that way also.

Will be in Sci-fi and Fantasy Modeller later this year...
Took longer to do than I first thought as the first 22 has been changed in the last few years to make it look more like the 2nd built by Martin Bower.
You'll need deep pockets as mine used 2 x Gemini kits, Airfix Vostok, 2 x Saturn 1bs, Panther, Sheridan, Lunar Lander, Tamiya Pkwfz IV D as well as EMA parts.
I also used the Metal Bells (that meant I had the kit Vtol bells for the cargo/winch pod) plus Brass rod.
The finish is authentic to the point of Letraset Symbols and Humbrol Enamels used for weathering. I wanted it to look as close to the original miniature as possible - which it is apart from its weight!
Really pleased with her even had a comment from someone who thought I bought the original -I Wish!?

So, no sneak peaks then?
