Default Problems accessing this site.

Over the past few weeks I've clicked on this site and there's basically an advert with women on it. When I go back and then click on the site again I can usually access this site the second time but over the past few days I couldn't access the site at all. At first it was a blank page then an error code.

Obvioulsy today I've been able to access this site but the advert was still there at the first attempt. Anyone else had this?

Default Flop-Bot Redux...

Yes, me too. Either I was getting error-code messages, or - since I've been able to come back on - displays and icons are all different, and NO images are displaying at all!

What goes on??

(At least the Smilie List seems intact...)

Hi Guys,

We have been working behind the scenes to resolve a flurry of issues where our site has been targeted for software attacks. Chris has a solution thank goodness but it will take a little time to implement. This involves upgrading the forum software and working with our service provider to manage the changes.

If we are successful all that you will see is a small break in forum up time.

It's a pain when a few hackers get their fun by interrupting everyone else's.

Man it must be easier for these guys to do something constructive than target our (or random) sites - the future will never be like Star Trek

Thanks for that. It's amazing why hackers would target a site like this.

Just clicked on the site now. At first it was the old ad - then it redirected me to something that can only be described as er - pornographic.

Thanks for the efforts to get the site back / up and running.

I still get the attached warning (every time I move to a new page) and I think due to the advert. Hope it helps.

Is that why it’s been so quiet around here lately?

Hi, Andernut!

Starting a new thread is pretty easy. Just choose the category you want it to appear in (eg, Dragon's Domain - Image Gallery), and at the top left you should see a link with the words New Thread. Click on that, and it'll get you started...

It does but only with Chrome; Microsoft Edge seams fine on the same machine. I will see if I can figure out how to clear the cache / logout and back in type stuff.

The anti-virus is not running in MS Edge; that explains that. I have removed the extension from Chrome. It is a works PC, it will probably get added again when I log on next.

Hi the problem with Photobucket still exists, I regularly go back and browse older threads on the Puppet thread as it's great for reference but a lot of the pics are still blocked, is there anything that can be done about this?. thanks Niall.
