Default My bits 'n' bobs

Just be putting some pics up here now and again.
Start with the worst Eagle model ever!
This is because Jorge (Eagletransporter) forgot to put one of these in with his photo of ALL his Eagles!!
This is quite old now as well....
New stuff soon here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/4960236...7613095942649/

No worries mate, I’ll soon take another Eagle family portrait which will include my IMAI “ugly duckling” (it's a rescue version minus the Michelins).
Regardless if one likes or not the model those are some great photos Ronnie, looking forward to see your next batch!

Jorge

PS...post your photies in our FB SP99 page!

Why?
It's just a rubbish wee model.
My mate was "wanting to help" so I let him do the pod.
I would never have put the wheels on.

Why do they do that?
Same with the Thunderbird 2
Had to make a new pod bottom because of the stick wheels on it mentality.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing your complete Eagle photos

That is the Japanese for you, turn what could be a half decent kit into a toy with wheels and 'shooty' stuff.

Mind you that being said the Imai Eagle kit even leaving off the wheels is pretty crap as an Eagle kit.

But you have left the Airfix and Product Enterprise ones off.
Want a full spread of all the different types.

You will need a 44" as well y'know?

I know, forgot those…plus the 22”AB and the Dinkys (phewww, tough crowd!)
As for the 44” hopefully Steve Walker will materialize my wish next year!

Saw this TB2 in Perth in 2005.
Don't know who did it.
I just think it's ace.
Sorry, very basic Kodak camera back then.....

Another home made effort from somebody.
I'm guessing they had had 4 tins at least.

That was Joe Cherry from the What If? Special Interest Group. At one point he sneaked it onto my model photography table to see if I noticed

Oh yeah, like it wouldn't stand out in among your stuff!

Here's something that looks like Derek Meddings could've made.

Here is my HK from Terminator (4)
Haven't actualy seen the film yet!
Cheapo toy from Toys 'R' Us -£7 I think.
It was dark brown, but I wanted it like the originals so I sprayed it chrome.
It is in its Ikea cabinet.
Lighting is from a Kamasa torch. It shines white/red/blue or green.
Handy thing.
Here are 2 versions

Here is a photo I took of my hometown of Dundee.
I went dangerously close to the water but got away with it.
I think it turned out very Thunderbirds-ish!!!

No editing has been done to this photo.
Also still here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49602360@N00/
I know I know....I'll do some sci-fi ones soon!!

Thanks TonyB.
I was out doing my Spiderman, taking some photies at precarious heights, when I saw these huge things on the roof of The Overgate shopping mall type place.
I'm not sure exactly (air ducting I presume) what they are, but would make great engines for someones 1:1 project.
-click ...and click....and click again to get the photie full size.

I'm still hanging about here:
