Default Season's Greetings - 2006

*
Well, another year rolls-by. I hope you've all enjoyed the forum so far. It's been hard work at times but well worth it, it seems.

Here's wishing you all a great festive season - however you celebrate it (or not).

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all members, or have happy holiday's or whatever it is that floats your boat.

There were also some difficult moments, like the imminent closure of this Forum…but all problems were surpassed thanks to the determination (and sacrifices) of our good Commander to whom we owe so much.

Yes, we have all the reasons to wish ourselves a very Merry Christmas!…and will 2007 be a great year?...well, we currently have 300 members and close to 16500 articles posted…does anyone have any doubts?

Thank you Mark, Tony and Chris!

Boas Festas a todos!

I'd like to add my best wishes to everyone and offer all members this festive Christmas card. You'll need speakers on BTW.

That was fun! (I was wondering why the white deer was off by himself... funny!)

You know, this particualr board is more festive than some of the company Christmas parties I used to attend in my old job, and even though we've never met in person, I feel a closer bond with many of you than I had with many of my former co-workers. I'm glad to have been a part of all of this over the past year, and look forward to continuing for a long time.

Merry holidays to all!

It has been a fantastic year for us eagle nuts!

I have personally gained tremendous knowledge and inspiration from these pages in 2006.

The close call of the potential forum closing, made me appreciate the efforts of those who make it possible even more.

I'm very proud to be a member of this forum!

Merry Christmas from Keith and Rochelle, and all the best for 2007

Nice e-card DX-SFX!

Hello everyone,

Being part of this forum has been a real pleasure. Many ohter forums should take note of the friendly was it is run and the lack of sniping and backbiting that can go on. Thank you, Mark, for persevering and keeping the forum running. Thanks also to Russ for his support whilst getting my broken Zero-X issue resolved. And thanks you all for making this such a great place to visit and for all the information posted.

Happy Christmas to everyone,
Doug.

I'm off tomorrow morning starting a country wide trek to visit far flung relatives and friends for the seasons festivities so I hope that every one of you has a great Christmas and new year and I'll see you all again soon.

All the best,

Russ

It's been a wonderful year during which my PE Eagle fleet has grown and been improved with new paint and aluminium. The recent addition of the VIP and gift set certainly helped to set the Christmas spirit! And there's still a manipulator arm coming from the very nice w8cmp, a glider and more aluminium is also ordered, so the new year is off to a good start.

The pod contest was an amazing event! This forum has been a constant companion all year, and I can't imagine what would have become of my rekindled interest in Eagles and Space: 1999 without all of you. Many thanks!

I wish you a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

or, as we say here:

God Jul och Gott Nytt År!

I think during the holidays everyone should have a place to huddle with friends. This has become that place for me, thank you my friends.

Merry Christmas,
