Default Delta Flyer....

The Delta Flyer has to be my favourite shuttle type vehicle. I missed a set of Studio Scale casts on eBay recently. Why do this things always come up for sale when I am skint?

I've got that travel pod...just trying to figure out how to remove the milling marks from between the detail panels to get a smooth finish.

Why can I never remember these sites .. thank for the help Steve.

found one image that might help shedding some light on the interior . a more functional design in some ways, than any other shuttle I have seen in Trek. with the flip down seats for passenger crew. and the main link to other images that may help

Studio scale? I'm confused. I thought the DF was only CGI, with a couple of full size sets.

Frankly, I'm really cheap. I just scratch build.

Correct. It only ever existed as a 3D model built by Rob Bonchune in Lightwave 3D based on Rick Sternbach's blueprints. I think he must have meant a model that would appear to be studio scale had a scale model been actually made. That's a lovely scrachbuild you have in progress by the way !

Never really liked the Delta Flyer, it always reminded me a bit of a partially deflated baloon, now the Speedboat shuttle, there's a design !
Getting back on track with the thread, whats the size of this going to be ? as I could be interested in one if you were offering it as a kit.

I use the 1500 grit sandpaper to get it smooth. Do you have the clear vac window part?

Thats a great job your doing Stingray, The ST V shuttle has a great shape but like all the other reworked shuttle designs it has lost the rear impulse section that was my favourite part from the Galileo. I have only seen one other shuttle that kept the rear design from the galileo and that was from "Generations " when they are evacuating the saucer section from the planet it crashed on.
