Default RC Heli

I am hooked again on flying R/C helis, I had gas powered heli a few years ago, but ended up with several expensive damages, had to quit , a local friend got me hooked back again on purchasing this Heli, it's an inexpensive heli even with replacement parts, I've done some slight mods with this Super skids with a lipo setup and couple of heat sinks for the motor and and updated rotor core that is made from aluminium since the stock core breaks easy.

You are probably wondering where I'm going with this, Well the heli hovers ( So does the Eagle ). I am not sure how far I could go with this idea but still working on the experiment ( still learning how to do a decent hover ), thought some might be interested

BTW, There is a flight simulator cable that comes with the transmitter
and a free software called FMS, here is some of the Helis you could download, also here is the
Free Software if somebody wants to try creating an Eagle

Note: The Transmitter (TX) can be purchased seperately $39-$49.00

That looks a lot like the Venom Night Ranger II. I bought one last year and had a lot of fun with it till a gust of wind slammed it into a building wall and it was broken to the point that I couldnt imagine buying enough replacement parts to fix it.

I am likely going to buy another one this year, and get my reflexes going again!

It is from the same company ( China ), along with Walkera 4, Esky to name a few except that the Night Ranger II, from Venom should have a better motor but you could just buy this and just replace the electronics from your VNR II for about $40.00.
That should save you some $$$$$$

Good point... I dont really need another radio, etc.

There is also a new micro heli (even smaller) from Venom, with supposed 3D capability. I am tempted to pick one of those up as well, because being smaller it should be even easier to fly inside, thus avoiding a gust of wind that doomed my previous rig!

There is actually a few out there ( competition )

I actually hovered my Falcon 40 in the house, got gutsy and flew outside and doggum wind blew it off , not too bad of a crash ( replacement is cheap except for the down time ) I 've learned to buy multiple spares

I would like to get the T-Rex 450 SE mid size and not too badly priced,
like I mentioned earlier, a lot cheaper then the fueled helis

Default indoor heli

secret is a small blob of blue tac or a drawing pin on the nose improves flying and handling 100%

Here is another link of this Havoc Heli and it was noted that Costco had it for $21.00.

I like and envy Ostrein for having to fly an Eagle with his sim, would like someone to be able to create one for FMS

The Blue Thunder is quite easy to fly, but the Airwolf is touchy. The best is the Cobra, it also sounds like the real thing

Here is a great project, doing a Airwolf mock up. They almost have some step by step shots on how to convert a Bell 222, pretty cool
