Default Stun Gun

Well, my stun gun i won off ebay finally arrived today and all i can say is OMFG! is this thing cool!

i cant even begin to describe this baby! the weight feels perfect and the construction is just pure genius. i would hate to go out on a limb but i would have to say this is probably constructed better than the originals?

to open it up, you pull down on the spring loaded lanyard loop and pull the grip away at the bottom and a few internal screws are revealed plus others in various spots. the laser was taken apart and cleverly fitted into place in the gun so it can actually work.

the colored crystals are recessed into the body of the gun and not just glued onto the outside which is really cool and the front beam projectors are aluminum as is the stun/kill switch, and round side knobs.

included are some pics, and in the meantime i have to go empty my drool bucket.

I would have to say in all my years of being a 1999 nut that is the best stun gun replica I have ever seen. Nice catch.

Hey guys,

I just discovered this great site this week and joined right away.

The Stun Gun posted by Northerner was created by me.

I have always been a big fan of Space 1999 and am happy to have found this site.
There seems to be some concern as to shipping of this item to Australia.
That should not be a problem as long as I identify the contents as a science fiction toy prop which is what I do anyways.
It would never identify it as a gun.
I am hoping to have another one ready by the end of the month but at the price it's going for, I sometimes wonder if it's worth it. It takes lots of my time to get one of these ready.

I am hoping to have a Commlock ready by next spring with the same quality as the gun. It will also disassemble and should be easier to create.

I guess I will have to get caught up on some of the reading in here...lol

It might be prudent to take discussion of this topic off the boards -- and use the PM function, instead. I can imagine at least one really good reason for doing this.

Welcome!

Thanks also for answering the question about shipping such items to Australia. What I suspected, but one never knows with the authorities!

Hi. I just joined this forum. Does anyone have any pictures of propmaker's work? I tried to send a message to him directly, but according to the forum policies, I'm not qualified for that. Thanks.
