Forgive my ignorance, but there a Moonbuggy kit in 1/48th? Availability?

Thanks,

Art

ps I may have answered my own question. Is this the kit.....?

If so, has anyone dealt with this company? are they reputable?

Thanks, Art

Hey Art, yes there is a kit from Larson Designs. It is available through Ebay or directly through the following website: http://minimodelmadness.com/store/in...7a5cf8fd2f4dea
You can see what I did with it: http://www.eagletransporter.com/foru...pic.php?t=2545

Ron, et al,

The decals arrived last week when I was out of town so I didn't see them until Saturday. They are excellent! Now I'm waiting for my Moonbuggies to arrive!

Thanks Ron.

Here's my finished Moonbuggy. I'll post a few more pics in the proper forum. One thing I noticed: the set is short two of the white number 5's on a black background, for the front and back of the vehicle. At least, that's what I got from the few photos I was able to gather up on the web. No biggy - I printed my own. But, overall, it is a very nice set that fills a gaping whole in the market. Thanks, Ron I dirtied it up with some powdered pastels.

You did a great job. And thanks for the hint concerning the additional number on the front and the rear. The can not always be seen, but I will add them to an updated decal sheet.

No prob, Ron - here's a couple of screen snaps showing what they look like:

I've seen other photos where they're not there, so I guess it's like a lot of TV props in that the thing got changed around some (like the Eagle!)

Default Moon Buggy Decals

Are those decals still available? I have the Shapeways moon buggy, 1/48 scale, 3-D printed from Shapeways.
Thanks!
