Default Volume 7

Hi Guys,

Don't usually have time to post threads but, as Volume Seven is at the printers and due any day and articles for Volume Eight are in the works, thought I'd take a few seconds to say hello. I edit and co-publish (and promote and sell and pack and post ) (and co-design) (and write some of the stuff) (and lots of other stuff) Sci.fi & Fantasy Modeller. Just wanted to say to those of who who buy and read it - thanks for supporting us! Hope you enjoy Volume 7.

Take care, all.

Default Hi Stargazer

The 2001 kits in Volume 7 are all awesome scratchbuilds.

Stargazer, would love to feature your kits in our title if you're up for us reviewing some of them? Whaddya say? Always on the lookout for new and exciting stuff. Would also be happy to tell the Stargazer story...
Take care.

Next up is a Space 1999 scratchbuild Eagle hybrid thingy - work begins when I have my 22" CM and decals from Chris.
I'm very excited about this project as it has been on my 'to do' list at the top for a while now.

Please keep us informed as to your upcoming subjects and we'll be sure to take a look at and feature them. If you contact me via our website I can set up something regarding an interview for SF&F.

Thank you and take care,

I've already subscribed to the next four issues (last subscription ran out). Don't want to miss any issues of this excellent magazine.

I have the whole set of the original publication too and it forms an invaluable reference work as well as a nostalgic look at the models available some time ago.

Keep up the good work on the new mag...I think I can safely say we all appreciate it

And welcome to the forum !

Chris

I am like you Chris I have the complete run of the original magazine, and the two previous issues, before the mag was re-released.

Very good reference and as you say a nostalgic look back.

There were 53 issues in all.Plus two specials which came out before the first 53.So you could say 55? Absolutely invaluable reference material,I too have the lot.

Cheers

Default Hi Chas

Yes, 53 issues over eight + years, plus the original two specials, and we also published three books - Classic SF&F Vol 1, An SF modeller's guide to various projects and From Sketch To Screen, folowing movie vehicles from initial concepts to finished miniatures. Would REALLY like to do specials with the new title - and have some planned - it's just a matter of man-hours available!
