Default 12'' vs. 24'' Eagles - help neede

Well guys,
you know that I got my first big Prop Eagle yesterday.
So now after looking at this and at the 12ers:
do my eyes fool me or is the Prop compared to the small Eagles
shorter and stubbier?
Does anyone now how the research was done by PE/IR on the small and
the big eagles?

Small Eagle has its origins in the Warp kit

Large Eagle has its origins in the Replicas Unlimited kit

That's about it I think...

The small one was based on the WARP kit which in turn was custom mastered for the kit. I believe it was based on Phil Rae's drawings which are pretty good and the resultant master was impressive. The PE 23" is just a slightly reworked preassembled Replicas Unlimited kit which wasn't. Proportionally, the 12" one is very good. The 23" one is very poor accuracy wise.
