Default Happy New year 20 08

Happy New year all. May we find Terra Alpha or something like that... no actually its better wondering the stars at present. Wonder how they're doing back on earth?

Trust that everyone does actually have a good new year.

Thanks Tony

2007 has been, to borrow a quote from Doctor Who, not so much of a vintage, more a table wine really. The highs have been incredible but the lows have been very bad.

Here's wishing everyone here a fantastic 2008

We in the UK just enjoyed the firework display in Sydney on our BBC lunchtime news.

A bit of an 'annus horribilis' for me I'm afraid, but finding this place was a highlight. Oh well, as Otis Clay (and Yazz) said, the only way is up. Best wishes to all Alphans for 2008.

Must go, I see a G&T with my name on it!

Ah yes... when they waste huge amounts of money trying to blow the bridge up... looks nice though. We even had some people in a couple of back yards trying to do the same ... we watched them attempting to start a bushfire in our area from our back door. They are banned for private use in much of Australia, but not so in the tinder box where I live.

Have a grand New Year celebration, but be careful enough to (a) not get caught having it and (b) stick around to have many more!

Seriously, I hope this next one's better than the last for everyone. Happy New Year!

Default 2007 - A Sad Year For Gerry

2007 has not been a brilliant year for Gerry Anderson. All his projects, Deep Sky, Regor The Rescue Dog and the New Thunderbirds series have come to nothing and Gerry has had to vacate his office at Pinewood and work from his office at home. I do hope his project with Cosgrove the Andermat Thunderbolt gets some positive news soon and that 2008 is a great year for Gerry.

A Happy New Year To Everyone.

God Bless

Default Over the Top, lads!

Bloody hell, with all the fireworks going off it's like the first night of the Somme offensive outside!

Incoming!!!!!

I tend to celebrate in a more subtle manner, with a bathful of golfballs and Swarfega...

Happy New Year, may there be many more to come.

Otto.

Happy New Year everyone...

It's a privilege to know you all via this forum, and let's hope we can get some of us together for a bit of a social gathering in 2008 - in the absence of a Fanderson Con...

Looking forward to a positive and prosperous new year, as like so many others have said above, 2007 has not been one of the best.

Among the regular new year resolutions like losing weight etc etc, one of mine is to actually build some of those models I have sat on for many years - like the AB 44" Eagle which Jon has inspired us and shown us all how to do to museum quality.

Our best wishes to all,

Chris & Heidi

A happy, healthy and succesful new year 2008 to everyone...

Well I must say, beeing in the Gerry Anderson world again and collecting again Space 1999 and UFO stuff, I am really glad that I found this great home.
Very great forum, great people from all around the world....

Let´s hope that in 2008 everything will develop well and that many new Eagles will land in our collections....

The new year is a little over two hours old as I type this. We had a small display of fireworks outside here and somebody even launched a parachute flare (waste of a good flare I say, but it looked interesting). For me, 2007 had some good things and some bad things. I know 2008 will be better and very soon, I hope to be able to tell you all about a space related book project I am working on. The sky is the limit this year!
