Default Iconic replicas 23" Lab Eagle

Well, I have ordered one and no i'm not mad, The big question is.............................

Where is it??????????????????????... comet minatures dont even have a picture of it and they seem to think it will be landing on Jan 7th!

I hope its not on that German Container ship thats ran aground recently off the coast of Germany.

I cant wait to see what the "metal effect" engine bells look like.

IR website says "available now"... i hope this doesn't mean available now with delivery in 3 months!

Tony told me he'd give me a ring when these came in. I haven't ordered one myself, but will go along and have a look to see what they're like.

I'll try to get some pics if possible and of course let you know when he lets me know...

For all its faults the old 23" is still very cool and a good option for those of us who ain't going to get around to building the larger one or getting someone to do it for us.... so as long as they haven't stuffed things up terribly it should be good. Hopefully it won't be too long, but I think they may be doing some careful checking before anything else is released so that it stands up.

Because someone will have a spine booster for it and then you'll have to the coolest looking PE 23" anywhere. But you will have to do all that aluminium again don't forget

It's a viscous cycle, isn't it?

I was never the slightest bit interested in one of the larger scale Hawks, until I looked at the pictures of the prototype for the Iconic edition, and then I started comparing their prices to the garage kits ......

If there isn't a 12 Step program for this maybe we could start one.

I have a feeling that one would always end up with a new eagle at the end of such a 12 step programme anyway, so why go through all the hassle, just get the jolly thing.

i dont know why someone doesnt just buy my jim small lab pod, build it up and set it next to a standard 23" eagle so you could have the best of both worlds for a helluva lot less money!

Problem is…we all know it is extremely difficult (even to pro modelers!) to “extract” the original standard pod in order to replace it with any other pod…

Yes you’re right Northerner, to simply set the lab pod next to the standard Eagle is a simple solution…but some of us really want to have it installed with the Eagle…

I am sure there are still some die-hard modelers out there who are building or planning to build 22”/23” ABs/RUs Eagles…so Northerner, keep advertising that excellent SAW product…sooner or later it will sell.

I Like PE 23" Eagles, I am purchasing the whole package because you get a nice display case included and Continuity throughout the range... I have the standard 23" and Rescue 23" Eagles and they look Fantastic when displayed together, and when the Lab and Freighter and Hawk arrive all in the same size cases im sure they will all look fantastic together. (entire Star Wars collection sold to fund the venture)

I agree they are not 100% accurate but Thank goodness sombody is prepared to make them.

I just cant understand how they got TB2 so very very very Wrong!

They are probably to busy figuring out what to do with 500 TB2's,

They could give em away free with every Hawk order !
