Default "Enchanted"

Just came back from seeing this and I have to say, it's a delight. I wasn't expecting it to be anything brilliant but it's completely captivating. Even the very small children in the theatre who often get fidgety were glued to the screen. A genuine family film that children and adults can enjoy. Good performances from all the cast and all aspects of the production are polished. Nice to see Disney back on form with a more knowing update on their usual themes.

Spoiler Alert:

They all live happily ever after.

We saw the film a few weeks back and thoroughly enjoyed it. The scene with the 'animals' coming out and helping the Disney princess was priceless!

Our family saw it too and thought the same. One reviewer here said "forget Golden compass this is the winner of the summer" Each to their own obviously, but yes nice to see Disney actually do something good without it actually being Pixar making the film.

I think Disney have rested on their laurels for too long, and as you say, now having to ride on other people's coat tails. A lot of people are slightly embarrassed to admit to going to see a Disney film which sort of suggests that they're considered a bit naff nowadays.
