Default SPV replica finally done.

Thought I'd stick up a picture of my latest model, its the last of what I would call the super models - Anderson models that I really want/need.
I made two changes from the original, 'glass' in the headlights and a mid-sized shark fin, instead of small or massive!
The crummy old Dinkys just for scale.

Stunning work...I bet you're a happy man with that now gracing your (vast) collection.

So when are we going to see the 'Sisson Museum' open to the public then ?

That is absolutely stunning work, David. The paint job is superb (how do you get metallic paint to go on looking so smooth without any granular effect?).

The SPV is one of my favourite Anderson models, and it has always been disappointing to me a decent model has never been available!

Now if IR produced a replica like this for sale, they would have a serious success story on their hands...

I've been waiting all year for this one (and the Angel and MSV) Well worth the wait. It really looks the deal, straight off the DVD. Its what you mention a few times about trying to get the feel of the thing... the look of it. Spot on... and yes torture... I want it, but I can't reach through the screen and grab it. Looking forward a lot to pouring over the update and seeing the interior. Iconic who???

Thanks for the positive comments.
It is Zircon Blue and I ended up using T-Cut to get a really smooth finish.
Cheers

That is of course what the PE SPV should have looked like. They wouldn't be selling for 7 nothing now if they did.
