Default Captain Scarlet moon tractor

could you guys help me identify the kit parts on this model please,

I can see airfix girder bridge, signal gantry and footbridge parts but its other parts on it please.

it doesnt look too hard to make a studio replica of this, I do have a m-40 tank which is used for its tracks aswel as on the rear of the spv, but its not on my list of things to do, I would just like to know what the kit parts are from in case bits from the same kit are used on something Im building

many thanks

Hay, i second that, it does have a good look to it.
The Tractor may not be at the top of my list but i would be interested to know what all the parts were from.

Its a bit like the "flat top" laser tank from S1999, what are the deck cubes from???? chocolate bars perhaps??????????

Its a great shot. A basic body with a number of carefully placed bits. They shouldn't be too hard to identify. Is the large hinge thingy on the top of the engine section from the Tamiya Matilda

I always thought this was a great design. I thought it was nice that the moon tractor appeared in Thunderbird 6 during the missile base evacuation sequence.

Hey Mike,

Would just like to say that your threads are always very interesting. It's great fun working out what parts were used in the models and how they were built. Also thanks for posting all the screen shots you have posted of these beautiful models for us to enjoy.

Cheers,
Dave

Im just glad theres a load of guys out there who like it and like making replica models, before I found this site I nearly gave up trying to find things out, glad I did find it,

heres another angle of it, if you where doing one, looks like youd need quite a few M-40 toy tanks as it has double tracks

and its just these bits Id like to know what kits they are from, anyone?

No, they're not B29 Chas. They look familiar though.

Two parts on the rear look like Gemini parts.

Keith

PS Is that Lt. Green kneeling beside it?

this part on the rear looks like a model ships bowsie fitting, probably ripmax at the time, but reade models still supply it

The part that looks like a model ship fitting is from the Aurora B58 Hustler (same part used on the Mole tractor).

Thunderbird 6 was on 'Film 4' tonight (just finished)- caught it by pure chance and had to watch it.

Saw the tractor during the evacuation scene.

I saw it on Thunderbird 6 tonight as well.
Would never have spotted it if it wasn't for you lot.
At the same scene, there was a neat little red tractor thing. I think it was pulling a yellow trailer.
Was that a one off, or from another episode?

But did you notice the odd pod the Tiger Moth came out of. Pod 5 with a strange font, high up on the door, which had black stripes and the pod only had two magnetic clamps!

I thought the little red tractor thing was the Snow Cougar off of Captain Scarlet (Noose of Ice)
