I haven't seen any of those before, thanks for posting they're great. I can see Scarlet suggesting that the baby must be from the TBs as its head is so large compared to its body. What is also amazing is how short the guys are wearing their ties in the top photo.

The Barnados Thunderbird 3 reminded me of a large TB3 I saw as a child somewhere. I think it was possibly in a Pontins or Butlins camp and I must have been very young. At the time it seemed HUGE and from what I recall appeared reasonably accurate. Can anyone shed any light on this??? I have no photos of it unfortunately.

I think it was the same one. I saw it at Pontin's (Middleton Towers), Heysham, Morecambe in the 70's. There was a big door on the side and a spiral staircase. I also caught a glimpse of it in some old 8mm home movie footage, in a Documentary about Steve Bennet and his Starchaser Nova Rocket

Default Is there a link?

Been looking all over this thread and can't see a link to the site with the photos. I'm going to feel really dumb when somebody points it out aren't I?

I think thats what so great about them shots,

look at the old typewriters, telephones and even the wall behind Gerry and Sylvia in the Stingray puppet shot

Mike,

Truely thanks for posting the Stingray pics, so cool to see the props with the production staff and dated equipment.

Just curious the first picture you posted is of a large prop Stingray (below), I was wondering does anyone in the membership make such an item for sale? Or perhaps accurate studio blueprints, so far I have only read various conflicting sizes/scale, does anyone really know?

Awesome pictures Mike do you have more of the Stingray prop this scale? Cheers, Darren
