Default SPV STUDIO SCALE ALUMINIUM WHEEL HUBS

while i was at the engineers this week picking up some engine bells for an eagle project i took a few other bits along to see if they could do anything and i showed him some resin spv wheel hubs i have and he said he could replicate them. it would be cheaper for me if i order more than one set, i dont know the costings yet but would anyone be interested in a set? let me know and when i get a price i will post it here and see if anyone's still interested
cheers Paul

Hi Paul, if this includes both large and small hubs, please count me in for at least x3 sets. A picture or two of the hubs you have with dims would be helpful Now if only someone had accurate large and small wheels, I would jump into making an SPV!
Cheers,
Darren

Im half-half interested

and thats nothing to do with the wheels which Im sure will turn out great.

I saw david sissons excellent replica, and immediatley bought one of the toy tanks for the tracks.

then it dawned on me what a complex amass of shapes and curves that the spv is.

I would like a studio scale spv in the future, but its not high on my personal list at the moment

Hi Seaview, that's a very impressive list of projects you have there, I can't speak for anyone else, but I for one would be interested in seeing you progress, perhaps you could start a thread of two
Cheers

I'm planning on building an SPV to 1/35 scale (as per the Phil Rae drawings) so if anyone was interested in producing some...

That would be a rather nice and manageable scale for the SPV... I wonder if Tamiya would make a kit of it. MkIXHawk it would be great to see photos as you go.

just been to the engineer's today and got a price for the wheel hubs. cost will be £50 for a set of 10 aluminium hubs. i need to know if people are still interested at this price. he has said he will make one set up and i will show photos but he will only produce the one set on the understanding i will buy at least 7 sets to get this price or i will be stuck for a bill of £185 for one set, due to the complex nature of setting up his equipment and time involved.if those who said yes earlier could get back to me ASAP to would help greatly
cheers Paul

Hi,
I’ll definitely have a set.
I’ve got a resin body, the toy tanks, and the wheels already. I just need the hubs.

Thanks for setting this up Paul.

Yes Paul, those dimensions work for my build. You can put me down for a set of those. Is there any chance to see a picture?

Hi Paul,
I'm using the ripmax wheels as well, and those sizes are correct.
So could you put me down for a set.

Cheers.
