Well I suppose it had to happen sooner or later, I did not think that Konami had finished with the Anderson models.

Sweet, more Konami stuff on the way.

Is there any idea when the release dates are?

Not seen them as of yet, but I expect we will not have to wait too long,

Although you if you are like me you are going to need three Interceptor bay's as they link together, three craters likewise, oh boy.

Such joy.

Exactly. This is going to be quite expensive. Maybe they will later offer a SKYDIVER base or how about some Mobile trucks where the normal sized Konami Mobiles can fit in... or a smaller sized moonbase? ...or how about some models of the Shado cars? I have plenty of ideas...just my Japanese is not that good

I am surprised that they have not materilised at this point, although truth be told, the wallet and the display cabinet are certainly pleased that they have not showed up yet.

They will appear in due course no doubt, along with other Anderson models we cannot live without.

All I can find out is it may be fall or Christmas.

No one is giving anything concrete yet.

Unfortunately they are not online (yet). But the Konami site would be something like http://www.konami.jp/th/candy/ufo/

Cheers, Ron

From one of my sources, FABGEARUSA, the Thunderbitrds items are not due out until late this year and the UFO items possibly February 2007.

I went and looked at the Konami site and found only releases to August this year, most dealing with sports.

Guess we'll have to wait.

...as long as they really are produced and will be available by then, that's fine with me. Other companies announce models for years...(i.e. Lotus Esprit V8 1/18 by Autoart Models) ... and they just never appear.

The following message has just been posted on SHADO@yahoogroups.com.

Konami's new diorama series on Thundebirds and UFO are announced to
be sold on November 2006 and February 2007 respectively.

The details are not yet specified, but this time, it is rumored that
there are no "secret items", because they will not be sold
separately ...i.e. they(11 items for one series) will be sold
as "complete set" only.

The price for the "set"(11 items for one series) may be about 9000
yen.

iszk

So how much is 9000Yen plus air fare?

Regards,
Barry
