Default IPMS Scale Modelworld 2008

Telford, 15th / 16th November

So is anyone going this year ?

I'm planning to go up on the Saturday or Sunday, arriving about 11am, and stay until I've seen everything and / or met up with everyone.

I can offer a free ride from the Romford area if interested - would be good to have some company for the journey.

Let's meet up as usual if you're going to the show...

Chris

I'll be there after missing last year's show. We're motoring down from Edinburgh overnight and should get to Telford about 8am, an overnight stay and leaving about mid afternoon on the Sunday.

Undecided on Saturday or Sunday. Probably Sunday unless everyone else goes Saturday.

I'll probably be going on the Saturday.

I have not been to the IPMS show in Telford for around 4 years so I will look at trying to get this year if I possibly can, not sure which day though.

Yes, we will have an Edinburgh branch display. My intention was the take along the Omega 5 launch pad and if I get it finished in time a Soyuz launch vehicle (doubt I will have time to get the launch pad/gantries which I'm thinking of doing). Probably a couple of other models as well.

I plan to be there between 10am & 11am on Saturday for the whole afternoon.

How about meeting by Comet Miniatures at midday as we did before...

If anyone is around perhaps we can go to the local pub for a drink and something to eat before leaving for home - much as last year.

Cheers

It's been 1pm in the past (I think). Most people like to have a look around when they first get there and chat later so perhaps it's better to make it 1pm? It makes it easier to compare notes if you've already been round especially if someone is looking for something and missed it.
