Default Guilty Pleasures

OK. Let's hear it. There are those episodes that are bad, but we just love watching. The episodes you sit down to - alone with a bowl of popcorn and a smile thinking, "this is so bad... Iove it!"

Mine are
All That Glisters
The Beta Cloud
Bringers of Wonder (both parts)

Anything from "Star Trek: Voyager"

It's bad, I know, but one of my college tutors has a crush on JANEWAY! He does not even have the sense to make it 7 of 9!

Eagles went crashing
Maya's bent on bashing
And the production crew suffers in silent discrace...

I was thinking of something more along the lines of something stuffed in a Tortilla and served with salsa (Isn't that a dance?)

With a line that doesn't really scan,
But it does rhyme with balsa...

Why, over the last 4 posts or so, do I get several images of Kenny Everrett?

(Sid Snot, Cupid Stunt, and Marsel Marseau - if I've spelled the character's names properly.)

Oh yes, that's it - it's a "Snot Rap"!

Sorry to all non-English forumites, who probably won't get the reference.

Kenny Everett's shows made it to Oz and are remembered fondly by those of a 'certain age'.

Back to the topic at hand, guilty pleasures (watched while home alone, with the curtains drawn):

Beta Cloud - so you're an evil cloud and you want to steal Alpha's Life Support system. Uh, does that include all of the thousands of feet of cabling and ventilation ducts, water recycling systems, computers, and so on? And if it does, are you sure your computers are compatable with MAC OS X ?

Rules of Luton - I usually can't get all the way through it, but you gotta love the evil cackle of the plant judges, and wonder just how they manage to appear on television over the commlocks. I'm imagining a hedge someplace holding on to a television camera, with a nearby director bush whispering: 'ok, go to camera three and cue the lights, we're on in ten, nine, eight....'

Ring Around the Moon - possibly the worst episode of both seasons. Victor Bergman's reaction, when the realization hits that the aliens do all their evil deeds using light: "Yes, but what kind of light, and how?"
Wow. You have to get a doctorate in astrophysics to be qualified to give that kind of analysis?

One Moment of Humanity - a merely bad episode until the 'erotic' dance sequence. I've always speculated that the reason Koenig almost loses it and flys into a fit of rage during the dance has nothing to do with jealousy... Martin Landau was thinking that they were only on episode 3 of the season, and he was contractually obligated to 21 more episodes of this crap.

But my biggest guilty pleasure goes to a non 1999 topic, instead it's a Disney production!

Yes folks, Disney's The Black Hole !

I must have watched that movie 50 times. Every cliched plot point known to man lifted from "innocent heroes stumble onto remote mansion populated by mad scientist and his henchmen" movies. But Disney did it one better, placing it the future, and in space! All that, plus evil robot villans and cute robotic heroes (and comic relief). Not to mention a supporting cast that includes Ernest Borgnine. It just doesn't get any better than that.

I have never had a crush on Janeway, and I've never watched Blackhole. I must really. Yes, why in the world not 7 of 9... best looking borg I've ever seen.
