It should be roughly the same size - the Lunar Models kit is quoted as being 1/35 and this as 1/32. Good news for me, as I have the VooDooFX lighting kit designed to fit the LM kit, so it should fit the Moebius kit as well.

CultTVman are taking pre-orders at $59 right now, which is not bad, except for sterling slide.

It's slated as being 356mm at its widest point.

I was about to lay out a bit more then that for the monogram flying sub. Glad I waited. I wonder if it is going to have landing gear? It looks like the doors are there for them.

Really like this, and have a friend who would love it, but wasn't the top hatch area blue on the filming miniature? It is black in those pics, and I swear I remember it being blue.

Anyone know of a good UK source for these, other than Comet who tend to charge through the nose.

Of would it be better to order from CultTVMan ?

You might even be best to order fom Hobbylink Japan.

I noticed a 1/32 diecast Blue Thunder model.

109 from Hobbylink and 221 from Comet.

Given its a US kit, I can't see much advantage odering this from HLJ. The CultTVman price including post to the UK is 75, the Comet price is 69 plus post - there will be pennies in it!. It really is, a case of you pays your money and takes your choice.

Some nice aftermarket goodies from TSDC, must admit I like vinyl floor as it will save some tricky masking and prevent pesky over spray on the clear hexagons.
