Default Actor Don Mason

Hi every one! Do any of you have a photograph of actor Don Mason please?

Mr Mason was the voice of Troy Tempest In the t.v. series Stingray.

I've seen photos of the other voice artistes of Stingray, but not Mr Mason.

If any of you could help. I'd appreciated it. Many thanks.

i don't have a picture, but wasn't he in an episode of 'The Forest Rangers' with Graydon Gould? ---there may be a still/clip somewhere.

edit --He's in episode 66 'The Bear Hug'

He was also the voice of Captain America's sidekick Bucky in the 1960s cartoons. I once met Lois Maxwell and asked her about Don and she said in all honesty he wasn't that good looking a bloke unlike his voice which was dashing and heroic. I would love to see a pic though so do hope a screen grab or shot does appear.

I've got a picture of him somewhere (from The Forest Rangers), but need to dig it out. I've heard the 'he's not good looking' thing from a few people, which seems a bit unfair as 1) he's not particularly ugly and 2) I don't see how the other 'hero' character voice artists are better looking. I mean, Ray Barrett was in no sense a 'good looking man' in the conventional sense - but no one singles him out!

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Don's death.

On the subject of Stingray voices, Robert Easton turned 80 on the 23rd November.

I agree with what you say Masterspy. People get a picture of what somebody might look like in there heads and it might not be what they expect.
At the end of the day Don's voice is a classic, just like other Anderson voice artists. Sad to hear Don is no longer with us. but glad to hear about Robert.
If you could dig out the photo of Don I would appreciate it. Thanks for the info Masterspy.

You can really hear Troy Tempest in the clip and it is quite spooky.
Well done mate, that was a great find, thank you.

If you watch The Forest Rangers opening sequence when the Dodge truck pulls up. The man getting out of the truck is actor Graydon Gauld.
He was the voice of Mike Mercury Of Supercar!

You can certainly hear Troy Tempest in his voice.

Interestingly, if you do a search for Troy Tempest on Youtube, James Garner is the third match in the list...!

im sure Don Mason is in 1962 film The War lover, the film which also features Robert Easton.

he shows Steve Mcqueen round the aircraft at the beginning of the film, he has a few lines but is not credited and cant find any reference of him being in it,but it sure looks and sounds like him
