As Tony B mentioned that he had it on pre-order, I assumed it was a book that had yet to be published. i.e. the UFO techinical specification one.

I thought you may have meant this one hence my mentioning it. It does seem to have been a long time in the pipeline but looks interesting I guess. Apologies for any confusion.

That looks great. I'm running that up a flagpole and saluting that!

Any more information on it Jim?

No more than anyone else I think. From what I gather the book is the sort of cutaway type thing that Graham Bleathman has done in the past but this time using computer imagery. The text is by Chris Bentley but I beleive Nick Foreman is largely responsible for the images themselves. Things like this are OK I guess but largely the information is loosely based on what was seen in the actual shows or official publicity material but like Graham's and even the stuff like this back in TV21 or Countdown it is mostly 'made up' by the writers and artists behind them. Kind of visual fan-fiction I suppose but I am sure it will be a nice book to look at. Not knocking it at all and again I will be buying a copy to support the product but I am far more excited about the TV21 books.

That's the book, I had it on order early last year, but it was delayed because the images were not ready in time for the published date, then delay heaped on delay, again due to the images not being ready. I pre-ordered it again in Jan on Amazon as its supposedly not too far off now.

You have to take this kind of book with a pinch of salt, but hey its a book that has UFO written on the cover, so its good enough for me.

Hi WOTAN, do you mean that you have trouble downloading, or that once you have downloaded the file you find that it is damaged? In either case, I can download immediately and the downloaded file is undamaged. Try again?

I found a few of the TV21s wouldn't download the first time I tried - got a message saying the file was missing - but they were fine when I tried again later.

I think some servers have been very busy lately! I had one damaged file too, but after downloading it again it was fine. Also had a couple of 'file not found'-s, but the next day I had no problems downloading them.

I'm halfway through the first year of reading TV21: saw a picture of a toy I had as a kid. Memories came rushing back of playing with that toy.

Again: thanks for the files and the work they did. Priceless!

Those issues like much of the comic itself are still in the future

As it so happens The Project picked up a COMPLETE RUN of this series last weekend and I have already managed to get a couple of issues scanned so with luck the whole lot should be good to go within a few months.

Meanwhile maybe my very own 'Most Special Agent' Slinky might like to post the four Joe 90 Storybooks along with the Dossier here to keep all you Joe fans going until the Top Secret set is ready for presentation.

Default Joe 90

Quote:
Joe 90 is a 1968 television series concerning the adventures of a nine-year-old boy, Joe McClaine, set in the years 2012-13. Devised by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, a single season of thirty 25-minute episodes was completed, and it was the last show to be made exclusively using a form of puppetry called "Supermarionation".

Various Joe 90 comics, annuals and activity books were released at the time of the original broadcast.

Yes ! Made in 1969/70. Though by then he'd also produced the live action feature Doppelganger/Journey to the Far Side of the Sun, and a short B movie called Crossroads to Crime. Lots of info on this forum if you search those titles.
