I am new to the forum but this site and the people are great.I posted earlier about the Joe 90 top secret comics.I will be waiting. This site is the best Gerry Anderson site by far.The models shown being scratch built are most impressive.I live in the U.S so Gerry Anderson stuff can be a bit tough to get at times. It seems though I have found the center of the universe for Gerry Anderson fans and I am enjoying every minute of it!Many, many thanks to the Century 21 project people! If there is something a fan in the U.S can do please contact me.

Thanks for all the fabulous scans Colonel K and Chums Pity its all on hold but I quite understand. Have you any idea where I might find a scan of the cover of TV21's last issue, 242? Is it in the new TV21 Reprint books do you know by any chance? If so I'll hunt it down there.

Cheers for the hard work guys Come back soon,Woodsy.

Can't scan it as it is too large to go on there but here is a phot. Again I have to say that you guys need to be buying these TV21 books if you are such fans. Everyone can talk about how much they love this stuff and downlaod it but it is another thing to actually go out there and support it especially when it is so cheap and now readily available.

Having now seen these books in the shops, my advice would be to buy the hardbacks if you can afford to. The binding for the paperbacks makes it difficult to open the books flat and appreciate the artwork - this is particularly a problem with the Frank Langford double page Penelope spreads. Also I'd suggest wearing sunglasses if you're reading volume one ! The printing seems rather garish. It's much better in volume two.

You will not be dissapointed with the hard back books, they are very good, apparently the publishers are so pleased with the response and volume of sales with these two books that they are looking at doing at least one more volume, perhaps even two more if we are lucky.

Even though I live in the USA I have bought each and every Gerry Anderson comic reprint I could find via Amazon.uk and ebay.

I still like having the scans because of the completeness factor.

There are definitely two more volumes coming out according to the author Chris Bently, the first of which, volume 3 should not be too long away based on what he said, cannot remember a date unfortunately, but its due soon, not sure about a release date for volume 4 though.

According to Amazon, Vol 3 is due 30 Nov. There is also a mention of this;-

Gerry Anderson's Century 21 Annual 2010 (Annuals) (Hardcover) - 31 Aug 2010

Default TV21's

Great to see the links, I never read them so it will be something new to read. I guess I'll have some downloading this weekend, thanks for those who scanned and uploaded these magazines that are long gone!

Default Is the project dead?

Just tried to go to the Yahoo group and it seems to have gone. Has Project 21 finished now? Does anybody know if any more TV21's will be released when the books have stopped being published?

Since the focus is now on comics outside of the material that could be used for the series of official comic reprints, the group was renamed and continues on as:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PROJECT-21_Phase-Two
The archives of previous posts and stored information from 'phase 1' is intact I believe.
The group moderator has said that the original Project 21 group (TV21, series 1 scans) will resurrect when the reprint books have effectively run their course.

Indeed 'Project 21' is taking a break for the time being while the reprint volume's are still ongoing but like James Bond we WILL return when the time is right.

Meanwhile we continue to track down any as yet unscanned items and also work on upgradeing older scans so we are keeping ourselfs busy.

Has anybody come across any scans of the Fireball XL5 , Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds and Stingray annuals? I'd love to see these posted if anybody is able to find them.

Thats a good point qwent. I'd happily loan mine, as I'm sure many of us would. What a fantastic project. I've just found this thread. I'm in awe of the generosity of time and resources.

I hope the project 21 project continues soon.

i was enjoying searching through each one in the hope there may be some more shots of the models Im building.

one or 2 people mentioned there where shots of the fire engines from Thunderbirds in them and I didnt come across any in the ones already scanned so hopefully there will be some in the later ones
