Default MILLENNIUM

I have recently been enjoying watching re-runs of Millennium for the first time on Zone Horror on TV.

I've just reached the end of Season One I think, and there was an episode where Frank's wife gets kidnapped and hung up. Frank ends up rescuing her and in the fight struggle with the kidnapper, ends up killing the kidnapper.

What I don't get is the next scene, where it shows his wife packing a bag and they are seperating. I mean, the guy just saved her life ! HELLO - a simple 'thank you' from the wife would be in order.

What is up with this woman ? Could someone please explain ?

Yes, you are correct. She says something about "you aren't what I thought you are". That's not an exact quote mind you.

I was SHOCKED and so was my wife. No way did she agree with Frank Black's wife.

I think they wanted to inject more personal stress into the mix - as if a serial killer that likes to send YOU pictures isn't enough.

I thought that "Millennium" was a good idea. Especially the "Millennium Group" and its divisions into two factions.

And Lance Henriksen was superb in his role as Frank Black.
I'd only ever seen him before in one of the Aliens films.
Has he been in any other sci-fi at all ?

If you like horror movies he is in Near Dark and Pumpkinhead. Not sci-fi but entertaining.

He was one of the detectives in Terminator (that got shot by Arnie).

Didn't he also reprise his role of Frank Black in an episode of The X Files?

I am currently up to season 2 of Millennium, and Frank has teamed up with the lovely Lara (with her cute catch phrase - "Here's my thing...").

Hopefully she stays on the scene, as she makes a good partner (very reminiscent of Mulder and Scully on X files).

James Wong wrote a lot of Season 2. He went on to direct "Final Destination" and my favorite "The One"

Lance Henrikson is also in Close Encounters of the 3rd kind - briefly, at the end.

That would make a good trivia question.

Well, I've just reached the end of Millennium - Season 2 on the Horror Zone on TV.

Fascinating drama - missed it when it first aired - but watching it now, I fail to understand why it was not as commercially succesful as X Files.

Very intriguing line from Frank Black concerning the Millenium Group - "It's not about the end of the world, it's about controlling the world."

And what a bizarre scene with the gorgeous Lara freaking out to the sound of 'Horses' by Patti Smith.

I'm dismayed to see that the final season 3 is not following on the Horror Zone - apparently from Monday, the slot is being filled by 'Freddies Nightmares' Season 1.

If anyone out there has seen season 3, please do reply with a summary of what happens...
