Great for those in the UK. If I'm reading the flyer correctly, they are tagging on a 40 S&H fee to the States. They've done this on former sales. Renders it rather moot from this side of the pond.

I have taken one of the Space 1999 Blu ray sets off their hands for that sort of price, I had been waiting to see if anyone would drop the price significantly, great stuff.

Having missed out the first time round on the DVD set, it seemed rude not to relieve them of one for 14.99 (!!!). It's just arrived, and the picture quality truly is stunning.

Thank you so much for the post, age9000

Told my brother about this (and he's not really a Space 1999 fan), but he ordered anyway cos he lives in the US. He says Network deducted the VAT...so that's 20 per cent off for anyone else who's interested Stateside.

If vat added is 20%, then vat deducted is will be minus 16.67% (not minus 20%) - so price is 24.99 - Far too cheap! I wanted Network to make a bloody fortune from this set so they would instantly sanction a series 2 edition!!

Whoops! Apology! I meant Amazon UK deducted the VAT!

Weird, I just checked...I'm sure he bought it there at 29.99 but it seems to be back up to 49 quid!
