Very nice indeed! What kind of scale/ size is it?
The real vehicles totally sold the show for me as a kid. That level of realism and commitment hadn't been seen before on an SF TV show. Sadly, the contour of the Straker's car Dinky toy always seemed way off. Maybe they used photos of the studio miniature (which didn't match up to the full size vehicle) for reference ... Yours seems to capture the styling a lot better (even the MK 1 version you've shown at the end).
Anyway, a kit would go well I think. Keep up the great work!

Agreed. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. The Dinky one isn't too bad, and the lines are nice in themselves, but not quite those of the car.

Wow! Good, you finally continued with the Straker car. Looking forward to a kit of both cars. What Scale will they be?

Well done Steve! I remember you told me many months ago that you were planning this and true to your word you have!

This is certainly an exciting project so keep us posted. The rough draft initial work looks very good the finished product will be superb!

Cheers - J

Looking v-e-r-y promising!

Personally, I've always felt that the Dinkys of Strakers car and Sams car from Joe 90 were cast too narrow in width: both the series versions seem to have been in the spirit of Italian sports cars with more of a low-and-wide stance, which makes them look slightly more aggressive.

Looking forward to the finished build

Well, 10 inches (25.4 cm) is about 1/18 I would guess.

For a slotcar body, vacform would be good...but for a display model I would prefer resin. Why not offering both?
