Paul Merton doesnt know his Thunderbirds !
Did anyone see the latest episode of Have I Got News For You ?
They showed a pic from a newspaper portraying Alastair Darling as a Thunderbird puppet ...  Someone on the panel asked which character was it and Paul Merton said "Virgil" ...  Shocking ! |

Not bad as Alan in old age
 Very poor on Paul's part. Millions of kids could scream, out "its Alan.. the shash is white silly" Perhaps Paul only saw it in B & W like I first did.

Unfortunately i'm not sure it is Alan! Those people at Carlton have done a lot of chopping of bodies and heads on their advertising material - sticking brothers heads on different bodies and re colouring sashes etc (Why??!!!) So to me it looks like Scott or John's body with a re coloured sash. Def not Virgil though lol

It really goes to show from last week's Have I Got News For You just how much Gerry's shows are implemented on the minds and hearts of the British viewing populace. Wht not ask Gerry as a guest one week?
