Default If they are "Trekkies", what are we?

I just watched the movie "Trekkies 2", pretty entertaining stuff. There seems to be a disagreement over whether they would rather be called Trekkies or Trekkers.

Anyway, just wondering what our group name would be.

a few options:

1) Alphans

2) Eagle Beavers

3) Bergmanauts

4) Tayboors

5) 99ers

Well, feel free to add your own, or take the stand that having a nickname further paints us into dork status.

Have fun.

How about 'Alphies' or 'Spacies'?

Trekkies usually refer to those that entered into trekdom for the original series. Trekkers are used to refer to The Next Generation and after. I consider myself a Trekkie! And, NO, I did not enjoy the movie; even if it was an alternate universe type of story.

That's one of the funniest posts I've read this morning...

I'd agree though - I'd call you guys "99'ers"...

Wait - I do use that term already...
