Default My collection (Space 1999)

Hello,
I hope I manage with inserting my photos. I made my replicas in last year. When I was child I always dreamed to have such (Space 1999 was in Polish TV between 1977 and 1979)
I made them with wood (with metal parts) and also insert lead inside.
Lasers weight 330g ,commlocks 360g.Now I thinking of improving laser by inserting red laser led and commlock by inserting plain blue led to light the screen.
I admire men who made stun gun with green laser and real working commlock.
I hope I made or buy such also.
Regards to all alphans

(Of course, I also found this comment funny and had to stifle a chuckle, as I'm at a public terminal and don't want to disrupt the other patrons around me.)

Default STUN GUNs

ASTRONOM,

As a child, I too built a set of three STUN GUNs Lasers from SPACE:1999 out of wood & metal.

These laser STUN GUN replicas that you built are extremely accurate. Great job!

And I made them out of...............................yes.....LEGO!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!
Of course, didn't everybody?

Sorry Astronom to take over there, just wanted to learn that while I could.
It has only taken me 2 years!!

You have a fine collection there.
Very impressed.
Is that a telescope tripod they are hanging on to?

I want to say thanks though, as my flickr stats says that nearly 50 people from EagleTransporter.com have had a wee nosey at them today.
Very good of you all to take the time.
Appreciated.

I made one more comlock, so I have four sets. Three of them I covered with perspex boxes.

wish you all a happy new year.

I like the way you've displayed them. Did you get someone to make the plaques for you or did you make them up yourself?

The plaques I ordered (cost about 10 Euro for 3 pieces ).
Everything rest I made myself (even perspex stands).
Main body of comlock I cut from 38 mm kitchen worktop.
I improved also guns (proper button colours and laser jets)

Recently I made two new sets of stun gun and commlock I think now with final improvements. I must say it took me one month of work (few hours a day). My wife still can not understand why I do it.
I also ordered perspex case for my 12" eagle. Wood base and plaque was not so expensive but perspex case with polished edges unfortunately very.
I send few pictures.
Regards to all Space 1999 lovers
