Back again, this time with a model. An original that I started about two years ago : The S.S. Elysium. Finally finished.

Excellent.
I love the paneling - it really gives a great sense of scale, especially in the third picture.
It's good to see different colours going on there.

Original, and best.....

.....what a gorgeous model - could have flown straight out of a feature film or a TV programme. Whether you meant it or not, there looks to be a definite nod in Thunderbird 2's direction, but it's matched perfectly with the tail section, and the result looks great. The panelwork and shading is top quality too. Do you mind me asking what materials you used for the three engines? Thanks for putting her on display for us.

Kindest regards

Patrick

Not at all, Patrick. The engines are made from two different types of water filter. They are cheap replacements for the Britta water filter jugs. They are produced by two different Apothekes in Germany.

I also used them to make another model I posted here a while ago, which for some reason has uploaded upside-down.
