Hi All. I have been thinking of selling one of my 44 inch eagles to fund another project. I will put some photos and details up shortly. I don't know what kind of price to put on her, shes old but pretty accurate. Any interest? AL.

Hi. In answer to your question:
The reference was the Phil Rae plans.
The beak is moulded in milliput as are the engine bells...
The main long spine rods are aluminium, the others plastic. The rest of the model is plasticard. It is very light but strong. There are pilots in the cockpit.
Yes the passenger Pod removes easily (two screws as the originals).
I cant remember the exact white spray I used...
I would consider shipping abroad (I am in hampshire, England), but would be concerned about it arriving in one piece! :-/
I can't accept paypal. It would have to paid through bank or whatever, that is of course if she sells!

Hi Chris, yes feel free to move this to the place where you think it would be seen by members on the hunt for an eagle. Just let me know where you moved it to! :) Cheers.

I saw this at Telford and spoke to the modelmaker- very, very impressive given that the whole thing is scratched- the gentleman concerned had the build documented in an A4 binder as I recall- his scratchbuilt star wars studio scale+ X-wing and Y-wing in a diorama hanger were amazing too.

I noticed you had it complete at Cosford. We spoke at Telford but I didn't get a chance to speak to you at Cosford as you always had admirers queing up to discuss your brilliant models with you. Great photos, by the way of the Y-Wing and X-wing dioramas, which I don't remember seeing at Telford!

Hi Keith, you spoke to my friend Neil Morrison who actually built the eagle. He traded it to me recently as he wanted my full size r2d2. I couldnt resist as I have a soft spot for eagles, but as I already have the one I built and about to embark on a joint project building a studio scale movie enterprise (with Neil) at 8 foot something has to give!

Hi AL. First of all...AWESOME job! I would like to know what size tubing and material you used for all the spine and cagework etc... I want to try and cut my costs as Ive done some research and Im close to $210 for materials. Thanks!
