Great pictures!

I love the Mole! And the whole idea of Things In Pods. One of the high points of Thunderbirds, I think, was that revelation of whatever they had brought to do the job.

It's only in looking at high definition still shots like this that various trivial butcurious discrepancies become evident.. shifts in the placement of the mole on its cradle from shot to shot (not explained by its movement launching into ground).
I see both fore-and-aft shifts and rotation of the Mole (bringing the tracks down closer to cradle on visible side and presumably up on the other).
I'm also puzzled by the geometry of those pistons that elevate the launch cradle.. they seem too long to fit within the base at that angle..
