Red Dwarf baby Scutter

Red Dwarf original baby Scutter

Hi guys,

Here's a little prop from Red Dwarf season 2.
A baby scutter.
I's only small, but very cute.
There were a few of these made, blue for boys, pink for girls.

The main scutters had apparenly given birth to babies (don't ask me how that would happen...)

They were pulled behind the main scutter on a thin nylon thread, like babies following a swan.

He's so cute!

What a great prop to have, the Scutters were a great invention, quite the personality if I remember correctly, also had a very distinctice 'claw' gesture. :D

There were some fantastic designs on the show weren't there.

Thanks for sharing the photos Andy.

Cheers,

Andy

Holy cow, that's awesome! I just came across this image while doing research for an encyclopedia I'm writing on Red Dwarf, it killed me that I couldn't see most of the numbers on the baby skutters, thanks to you I now have another entry! Do you have any of the other babies, or know who does or what the other's numbers were?

Also, I want to credit you in the book for supplying the information on this entry, I'll PM you for your info.

EDIT: OK, apparently I need at least 5 posts to PM anyone on this forum. So contact me at info@hassleinbooks.com if you'd like to be included in the acknowledgements of the book.

Hey Andy, I'm writing the Acknowledgements to the Red Dwarf Encyclopedia book now, how would you like to be credited? Please e-mail me at karnie@optonline.net, as I don't check back here often. Thanks!
