Grab a few....

Does it still have the famous 'square part' which goes
on the transporter pod ? Can't see it !

Are you allowed to tell us in which chain store you found it ?
I'm going to Florida in two weeks and i will definitely grab a few of those kits.

Hi Neo,

I only wish they were still available is stores. This was from ebay with transatlantic postage, very ouch...

I have been really busy with the UFO kit and the Main Mission Tower kit due end of October.

I have not forgotten about it though but realistically I can't progress until next year.

Watch this space.

I will be trying to rescue this drawing from an old iMac over the Christmas period, I didn't have the backup drives I use now back then. It was fried unfortunately but the HDD still seems intact, I have recovered quite a bit from it already.

The drawing itself is pretty accurate as I scaled it from known kit parts. I will happily send you a copy mate. I also have a list of parts known and have a good idea how to make the solar panels.

I am adding all the episode screen caps I have, it might seem that there are duplicates when in fact all the images are unique. Some are photoshopped to blow up contrast or brightness to distinguish surface details and some are sequenced as this some times helps to see more than you can in one image.

Last night I finally pulled out the donor kits for SID and pulled what I could see.
Still looking for better scans from the Japanese photo book (if anyone can make 600dpi scans I'd be in there debt) or if anyone knows the source of those plan images, there has to be photo negatives of them out there somewhere :)

While searching for the kit parts used on SID from UFO I stumbled across Revell's "Bridge Piers" from the late 60's. I don't have them on hand yet to measure, but it looks like I've found the right pieces. Does anyone know of these being used elsewhere? Or have a set that they could measure?

Hi Lee, great find, yes i have had this particular piece, for years but did not no were it was from.I will dig it out and post the dimensions it is also used on the space junk clearing space craft, from the episode conflict. Their are also parts from the airfix bren gun kit on sid.

Thanks, but no need :) I just got them and yes they are confirmed pieces used.
Looking at Bren Gun now :)

I'd check out std hobby shops 1st Revell unloaded a pile of these cheap at the start of last year. Most hobby shops still carry them in stock.
