Default Puppets You need Hands

Please see the pictures of Thunderbirds puppet hands I acquired from e-bay. The casting leaves a lot to be desired. I intend to experiment with these as part of the puppet building and painting process. To improve the quality of the hands can I fill in any defects with milliputti or should I use resin? Where can I get resin from? Also can I sand these using normal wet and dry, what grade should I use?

Iíll post in progress shots as the project develops. Many thank

hi for small holes etc, what i do is spray some filler primer(yellow colour stuff) into a small jar with a lid and use a small paint brush or whatever to drop/paint filler into them.

Do you mean Spray Putty for cars.
If you do, you can buy it in 1 litre tins or aerosol form.

Typewriter correction fluid like Tippex works well for pinholes too.

I use Halfords paint. It is so thin you don't lose any fine detail.
But if you need good thick coverage the aerosols from car paint suppliers is a lot, lot better. Including their spray putty.
I work in one so you can believe me on this.
Hey, I actually know what I'm talking about for once!!
