Default 1/72 Space Shuttle Discovery with boosters

Finally finished this commission build. Its taken a while , but its been very interesting. The last 2 shuttles i built were Moonraker ones , but i really like this one better. I have learned alot about the shuttle on the way. This kit itself is the Monogram full stack kit. Its not an easy build as theres lots of gaps , warps and general bad fit. With a bit of patience i managed to get it all together without much filler.
On the whole i enjoyed it and it will be one of the few commission builds that i will actually be sad to see go. By the way , excuse the white glue holding the glass on. It will dry clear.

Next on the Build list is the Revell 1/72 Shuttle sitting on the back of the 1/72 747!

Wow, I saw one JUST like it over at ARC.

Once again, very nice work man! They aren't the easiest real space build, but are very satisfying when finished.

BTW, for those of you who want one of these kits and don't have the money to pay the insane eBay prices, it is looking pretty likely that they will be reissued in 2010. I've heard it from one source, but have not been able to confirm it elsewhere.

Excellent as always! I'm almost afraid to post mine now. I started the the Revell and later bought the Monogram version. I liked the brickwork pattern on the Revell so much I combined mine. And though far from perfect, she got to be in the background on a local news show as former astronaut Larry DeLucas did an interview.

Wonderful build as usual. That really is a big old beautiful bird perched up there on her stack!
