Speaking of US Army, Ive also got images of the US Army truck from The Imposters, They remind me of the SHADO Mobiles from UFO.

This Trucks are also featured in Captain Scarlet, they exploded during a military test.

thats where they meet theyre end,

nice models, the headlight appears to be a ripmax spotlight and it also has the ripmax boat windows on the side albeit glued on the wrong way.

also seen in Thunderbird 6

hi Mike, ive just taken some more pics for you and will post after this one.ive had this truck from child hood and ive never wanted to part with it ,even though its missing bits and ready for the plastic scrap yard.It is 22" long, 11" high, 9.5"width and the wheels measure across the way 4".The only markings i can see are that it was a Tudor Rose plastic product and design and also it was made in the uk.I can remember abit what it looked like in one piece, and that there was a blue tipper type thing on the back which did tip and you can just see a part of the lug that was part of it in one of the pics.I think with the pic from scarlet this has been turned upside down and fixed to the chassis and widgetised. The radiater at the front was grooved much like a rolls royce and that there was a silver round type exhaust(much like the big american trucks) standing upright beside the cab and engine.Ive done a search on google and various others and i cannot come up with anything on this truck,im hoping i can as i either want to kinda restore or more likely turn it into the truck from scarlet.pics on their way.

thought id post the img code of your photobucket link as it took me a while to open them all, and others too probably, surprised its plastic, as it looks metal, shame those wheels are not ones that we have been looking for for other vehicles.
still a great find

Mods, any chance of splitting this into its own thread? Some good research cloaked under a thread about the Army Helicopter.

New thread comin' up!

(later...)

OK, I've done a quick copy of the 'US Army Helicopter' thread, and deleted the helicopter posts. Not necessarily pretty, but we now have a dedicated 'trucks' thread! Carry on with the truck discussion here, and the helicopter (and similar aircraft) discussion on the original thread. http://www.eagletransporter.com/foru...ead.php?t=9494
